Panda Surgical featured on the Crux of MedTech podcast
London, UK — April 23, 2025 — Today our CEO Manios Dimitrakakis had the pleasure of joining Henry Norton, CEO of Cruxx, a global executive search firm in medtech and surgical robotics, for the inaugural episode of 'The Crux of MedTech' podcast. There, they got to dive into the story behind our company, and how we're working to push the boundaries of what's possible in Neurosurgery.
During the podcast episode, Manios and Henry covered huge ground in an in-depth discussion, from the challenges of building a surgical robotics platform from scratch, to what it means to bring new technology into the OR, and everything in between.
In neurosurgery, it is all about finesse. How can you access the brain, and how do you delicately remove the target, without damaging surrounding tissue. The way we think about the traditional robotic system can be overkill, expensive, complex, and often not suited to the realities of operating in such a tight corridor.
That is why at Panda Surgical, we develop handheld, dexterous robotic instruments that do not cost the earth. The tools fit seamlessly into how surgeons already operate, giving neurosurgeons full control, while enhancing dexterity inside the tightest spaces of the brain and spine.
